Because of y’all…..We have an entire new lease on life (which means a new beginning) and are super excited for what the future holds.
We even took down the Christmas out of the front window today…Thank you Adolio, Paul and Susan! Check out the during photo…what a mess!
Here is that front window display as a work in progress. The theme is black & white and we can’t wait to see what you have to bring us next week starting on Tuesday. Because we don’t want to be overwhelmed with new consignments or turn you away, I will be posting some appointment times later in this email.
Before I get to new arrivals, appointments and our help wanted section, I have to share the strangest story. Well, it isn’t that strange, but it just goes to show you what a small world it is.
Y’all know I work out at Fit Buddha and I have known Marc Kettles (the owner) since my first day at USC. Yikes! Here is what he text me back on February 1st.
Shanti is Marc’s daughter and is extremely talented and Beth is Marc’s best friend…so of course I bought two tickets right away.
Then yesterday I got this text from my friend Pamela. When I graduated from USC, I shared a condo in Brentwood with Juliette (my bestie from USC) and Pamela (who we found in the Daily Breeze..LOL before the internet).
We were the blonde, the brunette and the redhead. And yes, I was the redhead. I know you all don’t think my hair is red, but it is and I don’t color it either…it is natural :).
Before I forget, here is a picture of the three of us back in the day! The blonde (Pamela), the brunette (Juliette) and the redhead (me)!
Once I got that text from Pamela, I immediately text her back and told her I already had tickets and that is when I remembered that she was from Santa Cruz…same as Marc.
Then I text Marc and told him and he was shocked….”How do you know Pamela??” And I told him the story about her being our roommate…somehow I never put it all together until yesterday…crazy right? Love all of these serendipity happenings!
