030524 Closed On Tuesdays & Consignments Wanted!

Happy Tuesday!

For the month of March, we are testing being closed on Tuesdays.  We have always been closed on Mondays, so for the month of March here are our hours.

Wed-Sat 11-5
Sun  11-3

For those of you who missed the news…we are staying open!   I am forever grateful to the community here in Ventura that has continued to show us undying support.  THANK YOU THANK YOU!

The turnout for our 6th Anniversary and Grand Re-Opening was phenomenal.  Even with the rain!  Thank you to everyone who brought flowers, food, champagne and just showed up!  We appreciate every single one of you!

Here is a fun photo from that day.  I LOVE my people!  Whale, Indiana, me, Val, Sandy, Susan, Cindy, Tina and Kay.

The store looks amazing!  And is FULL of new treasures.  Here is a sneak peek at how the front area looks…It was so nice to get a refresh!  And we are featuring Myra bags in the front…I even got a repost on the Myra Bag Intagram account when I posted this pic 🙂

A huge shout out to everyone who worked so incredibly hard this past week to get it ready for y’all.

Sandy, Susan, Sendia, Cindy (I guess I needed to start with the S sounding names first LOL), Whale, Martha, Tina, Kay and Peggy.  Thank you Thank you!  Also, Adolio and Paul who worked so hard to place the furniture exactly where we needed it.

Here is a photo of us having a “working” lunch back in the Original Fun Fashions store that now houses rugs, new furniture and overflow.  You must check it out!

Also, a shout out to my dear friend Audrey, who was my first employee (other than family) at Cheryl Leaf Antiques back in 1993.  OMG, Am I dating myself?

She flew down from Bellingham to consult for the clothing and overall floor plan and help us get everything perfect.  She did an amazing job! YOU MUST come in and see it.  Here is a photo of us out to dinner in Palm Desert back in 2017.  Yikes!

We still have some fixtures that we are selling.  There is a nice jewelry glass display cabinet for $150 and two of the tall Pier One Display Shelves for $150 each.    I may also have some Clothing Z racks.  I will let you know about those.  Also, I have two pop up tents.

We have two clothing appointments available this week. Thursday, March 7th at 1:30 pm and Friday, March 8th at 3:30 pm.

And here is how cool the clothing looks in the front store. Also, we got in some amazing Johnny Was this past week (thanks CCK)….check us out!

As far as smalls for the main store, I am available to intake consignments on Wednesday, March 6th from 11:30 to 4 and Thursday, March 7th from 11:30 to 2.  I am fine with you dropping by with smalls for consignment on those days.  Just don’t bring me more than 10 items at a time.  Thanks!

AND just remember that if I get too busy, I may need to turn you away and please understand that it is nothing personal!

Peggy will also be there this Sunday from 11:30 to 2 for smalls.  And again, please don’t overwhelm us as we get back to our new “Business as Unusual”….And as stated before, she may need to turn you away.

Another Sneak Peek of the store!  Can you tell that I really really really want you to come in to the store in person?

So, this past Saturday, when we were doing intake, our internet went down.  Crisis mode for sure!  In any event, there was this one pair of shoes that didn’t get a consignor number put on them.  I have reached out to all of our appointments, but no one has gotten back to me.  Who do these shoes belong to?  It makes me crazy when this happens!  Please help us out and solve the mystery of who belongs to these shoes!  Thank you!

Feeling grateful for all the support from our incredible community as we embark on this new chapter! Thank you for your patience and understanding during these transitional times. ❤

A fun picture of Indy and I from this past Friday. Thank you Indy girl for making the effort to be here! I LOVE you! And Yes, we did (well I did) lift the Cha onto the front counter! LOL…she is a trouper for sure!

Thanks for reading my ezines!  I appreciate it….as always!
