Happy Thursday! We got in some great new arrivals this week! But before we get to that, I have to tell you about our crazy day on Monday.
After Fit Buddha, Sandy, Marc and I headed over to Lure for lunch and Martini Monday. As we were sitting there, the most dapper man walked in wearing a three piece suit.
I said, “Aren’t you snappily dressed?” and we began chatting. Sandy was in the restroom and when she came back she said “Who is this?” and Marc said “Lynn’s next ex-husband.” Hahaha.
He worked as a Butler for a very famous film producer in Beverly Hills (I won’t drop any names) but his stories were a hoot! I actually called him a Cad. I guess I was channeling my grandmother on Monday with all those old school terms. LOL.
We ended up having a blast and at one point the restaurant manager came over and asked us to quite down. Always a fun time to be had!
Before I get to the rest of my fun week, I am excited to announce that Lynn’s is offering a design service to give any room in your home a new look!. After all, our logo is Decorate with Heart. This is a test program and we will see how it goes.

We will design a plan and will return and stage your project with items from your home, the store and others we source. You get to live with the design for 24 hours and may purchase what works for you at the item price plus a 20% service fee. You are under no obligation to purchase anything.
In addition to utilizing some of your existing decor, imagine how amazing some new throw pillows, throw blankets, art, decor, rugs and lamps can do to refresh a tired area of your home.

Then on Tuesday, I had Kevin (who has been helping around the store) and Sandy come over to my house to help move my office.
I have a separate office behind my house and it is darling, but I never go in there because there is no entrance directly from the main house.
I asked Indy if I could use 1/2 her bedroom for my office and she agreed. We got most of my stuff moved in and her room re-arranged and I actually think it looks way better! I am thrilled with the way it turned out and even stayed working until 9 pm last night. Which I would never do in the outer office.
I think it is a win win for everyone. Check it out.
The only down side to Tuesday’s hard work was that I dropped an antique barbell from my grandmother’s antique store on my glass floor mat and it broke into a 1,000 pieces. Oh well!
In super sad news, I am sorry to share that Val’s husband, Ron, passed away last month. We lost a good one….. We are all heartbroken for Val and her family. Here is a link to his obituary.
The service will be next Wednesday, April 17th at 10 am at the Camarillo St. Mary’s Catholic Church. We hope to see some of you there to support Val & her family.
Sorry to have to share that sad news. Many of you were there during his cancer battle and for that we are so grateful.
Back to store news, The eBay in person course for this Sunday has been rescheduled to Sunday, April 28th from 2 to 6 pm.
This is a short 4 hour class and you will leave with an item or 2 listed on eBay. You will also learn some of the most important things to know and do when selling on eBay.
I will be sending some lessons to you by email in the days leading up to the course so that we are all on the same page.
To be eligible to take this class, you must be computer savvy and own a laptop which you will bring to the class. You will also bring several items to list!
Space is limited and the price is $297 and you will receive a goodie bag. Fun Fun!
