Happy Thursday! I just put my mom on a plane back to Bellingham on Sunday, but now I am flying up tonight to help her get her house ready to sell. Jo Dallas is coming up from Olympia to help and Kathy Rutan will also be there…..My mom is motivated to get down to Ventura! Exciting.
I went to the best party this past Saturday night, but I will share more about that in my full length ezine at the end of the month. Here I am with the birthday girl and her husband, Pam & Cliff.
I had a great mother’s day! On our way to LAX, my mom and I swung by the Brentwood Country Mart to see Indiana at work at Caffe Luxxe and I brought Cha Cha!
Then I dropped my mom off at LAX and headed to the kids condo in Marina del Rey and we all went out for lunch to Tony P’s. Super fun day!
I am only going to be in Bellingham until Sunday. Short trip, but one of my best friends from high school, Melanie Souve, is also in Bellingham helping her mom (& visiting from Colorado) so I am excited to see her.
I put together a happy hour get together for Friday night at Hearthfire for a bunch of my high school friends and we are going to start planning our next reunion. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Here is the photo I shared to wish my mom a Happy Mother’s Day this year. I love this photo because it is my entire family, before my sister and dad passed away.
If you remember the random chance meeting of one of my consignors and Ryan Trott, my sister’s ex boyfriend, in Mexico a few weeks ago, I finally found a picture of them! They are at my house on 35th Street in Bellingham holding a new born Houston (my son). It isn’t in very good condition, but brings back great memories.
Back to store news, The next eBay in person course will be held Sunday, May 26th from 2 to 5 pm.
This is a short 3 hour class and you will leave with an item or two listed on eBay. You will also learn some of the most important things to know and do when selling on eBay.
I will be sending a lesson to you by email in the days leading up to the course so that we are all on the same page.
To be eligible to take this class, you must be computer savvy and own a laptop or ipad which you will bring to the class. You will also bring several items to list!
Space is limited and the price is $297 and you will receive a goodie bag. Fun Fun!

Many of you have been asking for an Annie Sloan paint class. I am happy to announce that we are hosting a “Paint your own Piece” Class on Saturday, June 1st from 1 to 3 pm.
Cost is $69 and we supply the paint, the wax and the brushes and you leave with a finished piece! It must be a smaller piece and approved by us first. So Let’s go! More info……
