Volume V Issue 000020
Sending Prayers to all of you who have been affected by the Mountain Fire. My friends, Val, Jeff & Joanne had to evacuate. Scary!
I moved here right after the Thomas Fire and can’t imagine all of you having to go through this again. Terrifying. This was Cha Cha on our walk two nights ago.
Check out this Coffee Mug that sold for $46.79 and then the buyer paid $34.95 in shipping charges and we shipped it off to Australia. Crazy! Almost $90 for a coffee mug. Check out the listing here.
I am excited to announce that our next in person eBay class will take place on Tuesday, November 12th from 1pm to 4pm. This is a short 3 hour class and you will leave with an item or 2 listed on eBay. You will also learn some of the most important things to know and do when selling on eBay.
I will be sending some lessons to you by email in the days leading up to the course so that we are all on the same page.
To be eligible to take this class, you must be computer savvy and own a laptop which you will bring to the class. You will also bring several items to list!
Space is limited and the price is $297 and you will receive a goodie bag. Fun Fun!
It will be a blast and I am so excited to get back into teaching others how to make extra money from home. Please email me with any questions. Space is limited so here is a link to sign up.
It will be modeled after my 6 week on-line Six Step Course, but since it is in person you will still get the same benefits. And yes, that is a really OLD photo of me!
Halloween day also brought Val and her grandson Jackson to the store. So fun to see them! Jackson is the sweetest little guy and so well behaved. He liked hanging out with Santa!
Stephanie from Tupelo Honey bought this amazing mirror and she and Joey carried it next door to the salon. How cute are they?
Over the weekend I decided to clean up my yard. I was picking up dog poop and there was some right up against my brick planter…not sure how it got there. But I picked it up with my grabber and put it in the bag and it wasn’t poop….it was a mouse and it was alive! I dropped the bag and ran! Scared the shit out of me! LOL.
I checked the bag a few hours later and somehow it had gotten out of the bag. It is weird because Carlos seems like he would be a hunting cat since he loves being outside, but he has never killed anything that I have seen.
Also during the weekend, I had the unpleasant experience of watching the USC vs. Husky game. Come on Trojans! My goodness, we were in scoring position twice and they just couldn’t convert.
To make matters worse, my sister Kiki’s son, Zach, is now a University of Washington Husky. And of course he couldn’t resist texting me throughout the game. Ugggggghhhhh! At least he was freezing….Oh, that is sooooo mean of me!
But as my dad used to say “Your blood is not red, it runs cardinal” Hahaha. USC’s colors are cardinal and gold.
The store is super full of marvelous items! Come in and check them out. We don’t have room for many items right now, but here is what I am looking for…..
Table Lamps
Floor Lamps
Nightstands
End Tables
Queen Headboards (we really need these!)
Metalware…Metal Baskets
Baskets
Wooden Items
Area Rugs
Time for another eBay score. Check out these bookends that sold for $77.99 and were shipped overseas. They spent over $110 with the shipping charges. Crazy huh! Check out the auction here.
Y’all have been asking and we are here to answer! Our next Annie Sloan Paint Your Own Piece class will be held on Thursday, November 14th from 3:00 to 5:00. Cost is $69. We supply the paint, the brushes, waxes and instruction.
You bring your piece. Please text a photo of your piece prior to the class for approval….to me at 760-880-3535. Pieces should not be too large. Think a side table, chair, small shelf etc. Space is limited so sign up here now
On Tuesday, Sandy and I headed up to Carpinteria to do some thrifting. We hit the Catholic Church’s Resale shop and then went to Teddy’s by the Sea for lunch. It was a fun day in her convertible and I bought a bunch of stuff for eBay!
The trees in the front windows!
