I can’t believe how fast time is flying. Christmas is only 13 days away and I have only purchased one gift. Yikes!

Luckily, I know a really great local store named Lynn’s Consignments where I can shop! And you can as well! Thank you for supporting local this holiday season. It means the world to us!

Time for an eBay score! I can’t remember where I got this…probably at an estate sale and I paid $10. Just sold it for $194!

This past week I have been working on my Christmas Cards. We send out 400 so it is a lot of work! And last year with me closing the store, I just wasn’t in the “Holiday Spirit” and did not send out our card.

This year I am sending two cards and two letters! I am exhausted and only about 1/3 of the way finished. Wish me luck! I want to be finished by Indiana’s 26th birthday on December 15th. OMG! How am I the parent of a 26 and 28 year old?

Seems like it was just yesterday that they were in High School in Palm Desert. How cute are they?

This past Saturday, a few of us headed downtown for the Wine Walk. We don’t buy tickets anymore and just hang out at Fit Buddha…Hahaha. First though, we met up with Sendia and her husband Tim for dinner at Lure.

Sunday, I had plans for coffee in the morning and then Sandy called me and invited me to a Christmas Party in Ojai, where you could get a free Christmas Tree. What?

Turns out it was true! Sandy, Marian and I headed up to Ojai in Sandy’s Truck for the party. It was a potluck and the guy having the party owns a Christmas Tree Farm in Oregon. So there were free trees! We cracked up getting our trees to the truck.

With all my time being taken up with those Christmas Cards….. I decided to put up my fake tree and leave the real one outside. My fake tree was up and lights lit in literally 15 minutes and I put the real one in the tree stand with water in my front yard. Why not? When the kids come home for Christmas, they can put lights on it!

We have a high end design job in Pasadena that we are installing on December 29th. We are desperately looking for:

On Monday, it was Fit Buddha and out to lunch with Sandy and Marc at Lure. I sure hang out there a lot!

Time for an eBay score. I was just looking at a stack of these old license plates and thinking that they were never going to sell on eBay and that I should put them out in the store. Then lo and behold, I sold one the other day for a best offer of $75 and it got shipped to Australia. Check out the listing here.

I have had a busy week. On Tuesday, I met Val for lunch and not at Lure! LOL. I feel like I haven’t seen her in forever. I really miss having her working at the store, but her family is her priority now and I totally understand that.

Do you remember the eBay class I taught last month? Andrea listed this darling Christmas set and I featured it in my newsletter. One of my consignors, emailed to ask if she could go and see it in person. Guess what? It sold because of my newsletter. Who needs eBay? LOL.

Here is that set in my consignor’s home. She already owned quite a few pieces of the Patience Brewter for Krinkles collection.

Please don’t bring in any consignments on Wednesdays…it is our CRAZY day! And we are looking for some higher end clothing…remember to call for an appointment for clothing….Brands….
