122623 It Is With A Heavy Heart That I Write This Email…..

I am reaching out to you as a valued customer and consignor.

Almost six years ago, I moved to Ventura to be closer to my children and open up a consignment store.  It had been a lifelong dream for me and Lynn’s Consignments was born on March 1, 2018.

With your help, we filled up a 4,000 square foot space with beautiful and unique furniture.  I couldn’t have done it without you all.

The city welcomed us with open arms and for many of you, Lynn’s Consignments, became a weekly shopping destination.

As we all know, Covid hit in 2020 and disrupted all of our lives.  We managed to pull through and life returned to normal.  Sadly, after a bit of a boom, sales have leveled out to what seems to be a new “normal” for Lynn’s and many other retail establishments.  This new “normal” is not enough to sustain a store of this size and make it profitable.

With a heavy heart, I am announcing that I will be closing the store in the near future.

I am forever grateful to all of you who have consigned with me and to those of you who have shopped my store.

I also want to thank my incredible staff who have worked to bring you a unique and fun shopping experience.  I could not have done it without you.

My staff, many of my consignors and customers have become family to me and I will continue to cherish our friendships long after this chapter has closed.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision for me.  Here are the details of the closing process for my consignors.

Consignor Instructions
