Happy Thursday!

It was a crazy week last week. Got in sooooo much great new stuff. We have 5 new couches!

And I am leaving for the desert tomorrow morning. Best part of my drive will be meeting Indy for breakfast and handing Cha Cha over to her. I haven’t been to the desert in a while and can’t wait to see my friends (including Tina Burke from high school!) and do some serious estate sale shopping and thrifting.

Let’s start out with an eBay score. I bought a set of flatware from Claudio at one of his “Selling Your Estate” sales back in April and he charged me A LOT for it because it was Ralph Lauren. I think I paid him $150.

But, I did just sell this ONE salad fork for $126. Yay! Check out the listing here.

Speaking of eBay we held an eBay in person class on Tuesday. Super fun with Andrea and Sandy.

Andrea listed a super cool Noah’s Ark that she bought at a thrift store for $10. And if you live in the Ventura area and buy it, you can pick up for no shipping charge!

Yesterday was a CRAZY day in the store. We brought in a 20′ Uhaul full of new stuff! OMG! And as I have said previously, we have 5 new couches in the store. So much fun!

Thank you to Adolio, Paul and Kevin for all of their hard work. I am exhausted! Especially, because I did Fit Buddha last night after working all day!

Last Friday, I met up with Sandy and her friend Marian to celebrate Marian’s big birthday at Tony’s Pizzeria. Such a fun night! I love that place and Bruce the owner as well!

Friday and Saturday I worked on one of my rental properties. My tenant moved out on Thursday and it was filthy and disgusting! Ughhhh

I finished just in time for my new tenant to move in on Sunday. Exhausting, but super clean and everything is fixed! BTW, I am only going to rent to women and older men in the future.

Monday, we did Fit Buddha and then headed out for Martini Monday with Marc. We ran into Tracy Short, who was my first landlord here in Ventura, and his friend Doug. Sandy went to high school with Tracy so it was fun to catch up.

Then as we were leaving Lure, we ran into our friend Alan the butler. He was the butler for Robert Evans and apparently can’t go to Lure anymore. I am sure there is a great story there. What a hoot!

The store is super full of marvelous items! Come in and check them out. We don’t have room for many items right now, but here is what I am looking for…..

Time for an interesting item that I listed during the eBay class on Tuesday. I found it up in Carpinteria and it is very unusual. When I can’t find anything similar in my research, I will often list the item super high and as for Help ? in the title.

People get appalled at my asking price and I can usually find out what I have in no time. So far no help, but at $999 someone will pipe up soon!

Y’all have been asking and we are here to answer! Our next Annie Sloan Paint Your Own Piece class will be held on TODAY, November 14th from 1:30 to 3:30. Cost is $69. We supply the paint, the brushes, waxes and instruction.

You bring your piece. Please text a photo of your piece prior to the class for approval….to me at 760-880-3535. Pieces should not be too large. Think a side table, chair, small shelf etc. Space is limited so sign up here now
