The Store is now 25% off!  Shop now before we close to shoppers on August 25th…in just 24 Shopping Days!

As a side note, we have extended our final day to August 31st.  This gives us some breathing room to get the building emptied out and for consignors and customers to pick up their items.

Don’t miss out…things are moving fast.  New consignments are coming in daily.  Susan and Kevin redid the store this past Friday and it looks PHENOMENAL!

What do you have to bring us for these new updated vignettes?  We are still taking new consignments!

Volume VI  Issue 000055

As I am winding down and closing the store, I really need some recommendations for a good /great attorney and accountant.  Thank you to any of you out there for a referral.

Unfortunately, Houston is not at the level to help me out with attorney type things….I can’t wait though…only two more years!

Here he is with his birthday gift….a new/used camera.  More about our birthday celebration later!

But back to last week….On Thursday, Houston had his Mercedes towed into Ventura to get a new alternator at Jay’s.  Ughhhh…..He would be picking it up on Sunday, when he, Larissa and Indy would come out to celebrate birthdays.

Also on Thursday, Lori and I worked in the store in the morning and left at 2 pm to head to the house to work on my shed.

Oh my goodness!  This getting ready to move my eBay inventory back to my home (and to a storage facility) has got me making all kinds of progress!  It has been amazing.

Here is the before of the shed.  What a waste of space and a bunch of CRAP!

Here is the shed after Adolio & Paul helped me take out all of the big stuff, but before Lori came to help and work her magic.

Here it is on Thursday afternoon after Lori got finished with it!  She is a “slave driver” as my grandmother would have said, but she gets great results!

No time to waste with Lori around!

Time for an eBay score don’t you think?  As you know I love to sell coffee mugs on eBay.  This one sold for $43.99 and I wanted to figure out why.  Turns out Pann’s Restaurant is still in business and located in Westchester (close to LAX).

It was opened back in 1958 by husband and wife, George and Rena Poulos.  It is known for it’s “Googie” architecture, neon sign and 1950’s decor.  Sounds cool!  But, what in the world is “Googie” architecture?

Apparently it is architecture inspired by car culture, jets, and the atomic and space ages. AND it was a very popular style for diner’s back in the 1950’s.   Cool!  I will have to check it out next time I am close to LAX.

This mug was released in 2017 to celebrate Rena’s 100th birthday.  She passed away later that same year.  This mug was purchased by a lady who currently lives in Beverly Hills….I wonder what her connection to the restaurant was or is?

Check out the listing here.

Many of you have been asking how you can still follow my store on eBay once Lynn’s is closed.  Here is a link to my eBay store….The Queen of Auctions.

My motto has always been eBay with Heart!  There is also a place for you to follow along on that page.  Do you see the Clear Heart next to the “Save Seller” in the lower right hand corner….if you click on that heart, it will turn black and you will be following us!

Thank you!

On Friday, Lori and I did Marc’s 9:15 am Fit Buddha class.  What a way to start the day!  Then she followed me to Car Max to drop off the BMW since my mechanic had found an oil leak, bad brakes and a broken windshield wiper fluid apparatus.  Ughhh!

Then, we would be working at the store in the afternoon, so we had Xander meet us at my house at 11am to get started on clearing out my single car garage.

Here are a few before pics.  Most of the boxes are full of “to be listed” on eBay items.  I am also storing quite a bit of stuff for my kids…..I am sure most parents can relate to that!

Here is Xander moving boxes on Friday morning.  He is such a hard worker!

Check out the TikTok Here.

If you can believe it, we got ALL of the “to be listed” stuff in the shed by 1 pm.  Only 2 hours!  Check it out….it is a work of art and I can just close and lock the door now!

Cha Cha even thinks it is beautiful!  Although, now she isn’t able to hunt for her black cat in the shed :(.

We got so much moved out of the garage.  Check it out!

We were able to add the two Costco Metal Shelves from the Shed along the side wall.  I will be moving most of my eBay merchandise onto these shelves in the next month.  Exciting!

And that pile of boxes at the front of the garage is stuff I am storing for Houston & Indiana, trains, clothes, memories etc…..so that will be going to a storage unit.

We thought we would be late to the store, but believe it or not, Lori, Xander and I were early and arrived at 1:45pm, just in time for our 2 pm shift.

Sandy stopped by to fix my Dymo printer!  What a great friend!

While Sandy was in the store, we were surprised to see one of our favorite families from years ago.  Maisy!  and her brother Zuma and mom & dad (Dr. Tara and Dr. Kyle Brooks).  Maisy was not even born when we opened the store back in 2018.  So great to see them!

With all of the craziness going on in the store on Friday afternoon, I got a call from Car Max.  Yes, all of those things were wrong with the BMW and they would be fixing it all for free!  It would be sent out to a specialist because it was beyond the scope of their mechanics.

AND they had a loaner car for me to pick up on Saturday morning.  Sweet!  Great customer service!

That night, Sandy drove Lori and I to Prime where we met Susan for Happy Hour.  A nice and well deserved treat after two days of agony….I was actually relieved that Lori would be leaving Saturday morning to return to San Diego.  Love you friend, but I needed a break!

OK, time for an eBay score!  Love that this Williams Sonoma Pasta Bowl sold for full asking price of $70.99.  There is still one available for sale if any of you are interested!  I LOVE selling anything Williams Sonoma.

Check out the listing here.

eBay is FINALLY having an in person event in Vegas this August.  They haven’t had one since before covid.

It is August 12th to the 14th at the Venetian and it is their 30 year anniversary!  1995 to 2025.  The first one I attended was back in 2005 in San Jose for their 10th Anniversary.

Super excited to go this year.  Any of you attending?

Can’t wait to see who the surprise musical guests will be….in past years they have had the B52’s, Kool & the Gang, Barenaked Ladies and Davy Jones.

Here I am with Russ, Griff, Jesse and Mo at eBay Live in San Jose in 2005.  This was at the B52 concert….so fun!

Saturday morning, Lori left….Praise God!  Just kidding, but on her way out of town she dropped me off at Car Max where I got a sweet loaner car…a KIA Telluride in Brown.

I then drove to Jay’s to pick up the Mercedes because I had a 9:45 am appointment at America’s Tire to get Houston a new tire.  What is it with me and cars these days?  My GOODNESS!

Here is the Mercedes parked in front of the Telluride.  After dropping off the Mercedes, I ubered back to the Telluride and drove it to the store.  What a morning!

I worked at the store until 2 on Saturday and then drove the Telluride home and ubered back to get the Mercedes.  Logistics!

I went directly to the car wash because Houston’s car was disgusting.  While at the car wash, I walked over to Cronies and had the best early dinner.  A Kids Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich.  Look at how nice his car looks!

On Sunday, the kids came home for an early dinner.  We went to my favorite….Harbor Cove Cafe to celebrate both my and Houston’s birthdays.  Super fun day!

After our early dinner, we took Cha Cha on a walk.  Always more fun with the kids and Larissa runs with the Cha.  Great to wear her out!

Then we watched Houston’s new Youtube video….and not the one where he almost dies.  Thank you God!

It was an adventure for his 29th birthday when he rode up to the top of Lukens…the highest peak in Los Angeles and 50 miles from where he lives in Marina del Rey.  He did the there and back all in a day.  He left at 4:30 am in the morning.  Crazy kid!

You can watch it here.

It was a pretty exposed trip and 100 miles in a day in the hot sun is insane.

Monday was the usual Fit Buddha workout, lunch with Marc and then a few pool games at the Benchwarmer.  Then since I had a loaner car, I did a dump run with all of the styrofoam.

On Tuesday, Susan and I went to check out Antique Malls in Carp and Summerland and also went sourcing for the store.  Found some cool stuff!!

Speaking of Susan, she did an awesome display with the Myra bags.  Soooooo fun!

Store is still looking great and a lot of neat things to shop….don’t miss out, because we will be gone SOON!

WOn Tuesday, one of my favorites, Kelly, came in with her darling granddaughter, Fable.  What a doll!  Fable lives on the east coast so Kelly doesn’t get to see her that often.  Uggggghhhh!  How cute are they?

Time for an eBay score!  I love this weird little bottle that sold for a 22% off price of $41.18.  Super cute!

Check out the listing here.  It is being shipped to Iowa today.

Back to the store…..For my consignors, here is more info about the closing.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision for me. Here are the details of the closing process for my consignors.

Consignor Instructions

1.) If you have consigned items with us, you may pick them up or leave them with us to sell during the liquidation process at a discounted price.

You will still receive payment for these items.

5.) We are back to the traditional Wednesday check writing day. BUT, remember you can only get a check every 30 days. And as always, please feel free to use your consignor credit to shop in the store.

An update on my nephew, Zach. He is currently in Rhododendron, Oregon. Yay! What kind of a name is that for a city?

Here are a few pictures from Zach’s trek. So proud of this kid! Way to go Zach! He has hiked over 2,000 miles. And he has a new shirt!

In more Zach news, his dad just posted a link to an Instagram Reel from Love Island.  Never watched the show, but it was about college football and they showcased the Huskies (boo!) and Zach was featured being a big fan!  He is going to be a Sophomore at UofW this fall.

Watch the Video here.

I text the photo screen grab to Zach and look at what he text back. LOL!

Volume VI  Issue 000054

My friends from all over have been offering to show up to help in these final months.  I have the BEST FRIENDS EVER!

Melanie (high school best friend) has offered to come from Colorado and Lori (Palm Desert best friend) has offered to come from San Diego.  Mo (another Palm Desert Best Friend who still lives there) was just here for 10 days and was a huge help!  Jo Dallas (another high school best friend was here in May from Washington) to help.

Lori arrived yesterday from San Diego and will be here through Saturday.  Feeling very blessed!

But back to last week….On Friday night, Sandy and I went to Fit Buddha’s 11th Anniversary party.  Super fun!  Congrats to the Kettles family on a successful business and party!

Then we went over to the Victorian to see the Cory B. Clay & the Twains play.  Such a great local band!

Time for an eBay score.  My grandmother made a fortune on Collector’s plates back in the 1970’s when they were HOT!  I am very careful now with collector’s plates and only list ones that are on the rare side.

Just sold this one for a best offer of $50.  Score!

Thank you!

Saturday, I went to yard sales in my new BMW.  I was a little hesitant to take it, because I don’t want to junk it up.

I must admit it, I am missing the Mercedes.  It was huge and held a lot more and it wasn’t in perfect condition, so I didn’t worry about it.  I am thinking of keeping it, but both my mechanics said it is in need of so much work that I would probably come out ahead by renting a truck to empty the store.  Dilemma!

I did find some McKenzie Childs dinnerware though on Saturday morning!  Score!  Here is a tiktok we did about buying it and hauling it in the new BMW.  Check that out here.

I got all of the MacKenzie Childs written up and listed on Saturday.  Paid $250 for the set and hope to sell it for close to $1,000.  I originally thought I would get $1,250, but that may have been too optimistic.

I am extremely optimistic and have been my entire life!  Here is the link to that TikTok.

Here are a sampling of those listings on eBay… I got them all listed in less than 45 minutes.

Here is a link to those listings if you care to check them out.

Thank you for letting me share that! I love it when I find a great set of dishes. Doens’t happen too often anymore!
On Sunday, my kids were supposed to come up from Marina del Rey to take me out for my birthday. Sunday morning Houston called and the battery light was blinking red on his Mercedes. He called AAA and he needs a new alternator…..Cars…..UGHHHHHH!

I miss these two and feel like I haven’t seen them in FOREVER. Like since they were in high school in this picture…it feels that long!

Houston is having his car towed here to Ventura for service and we will grab lunch/dinner this Sunday. Can’t wait!

Monday, I did Fit Buddha and then Marc and I headed out for lunch at Lure.  I had arranged with my mechanic to check out the new BMW as I have 10 days to return it to Car Max if there are any major issues.

So Marc followed me to Jay’s Automotive where we dropped it off.  To waste the 2 hours, we went to the Benchwarmer to play pool while Jay checked it out.

I beat Marc 3 out of 4 times in Pool!  Sweet!  Well, it wasn’t because I am good at pool, it was because he scratched 3 times.  Hahaha.  Fun Day!

When we went to pick up the BMW, there was some “not so great” news.  There was a significant oil leak, the rear brakes need service and the windshield wiper hose was broken.

I called Car Max and told them that these items needed to be repaired for me to keep the car.  They said, “bring in the mechanics notes and we will schedule you for service on Friday.”

Since that is within my 10 days, I am hopeful that they will make it right.  Does anyone else out there have experience with buying a car at Car Max?

I really hope they do fix it, because I am LOVING this zippy little BMW.  Even Cha Cha loves it!

OK, time for an eBay score!  Love that this coffee mug just sold for full asking price of $52.79.  Star Trek!  Mo paid $1 for it out in the desert.  Way to go Mo!

Here I am with Houston and Indiana back in 2017 at an eBay Open in Vegas.  I had just done a radio interview with Griff and Lee for eBay Radio.

We just got in a TON of Santa Claus Figurines.  Hoping Gail Gil sees this!

Assorted AnnaLee’s and assorted Karen Didion’s and most are $39.50 each with an extra 20% discount taken at the register.

Christmas sells year round, so don’t miss out on seeing these!  We already sold the Cowboy Santa Claus an hour after pricing him!

Brittany did an awesome display with the Santas!  Check it out.

On Tuesday, my mom went into the hospital again.  We think she had an infection or small stroke and that was making her confused.  She sounded great on Wednesday when I talked with her and I am hopeful that she will be released when my brother arrives up there on Friday.

Prayers for my mama please and more prayers that her house sells fast!

Also on Tuesday, I had Xander (Dawn Doyle’s son) and a contractor, Mike (Thank you Gina Cole), at my house to do some work.  I am excited about moving most of my eBay business back home and saving on overhead.  I am still going to need a 20 by 20′ space for now…if you know of anyone.

First up, was to put a door on my shed.  This could be great storage space, but because of the elements…things were just getting ruined.  Here is the messy before.

By the way, Cha Cha sits in this shed almost all day and night waiting for the neighbor’s black cat to enter so she can attack.  She is lazer focused on that cat.

We got a lot of the crap moved out and made some progress.  It looks soooooo much better with the new door and the almost empty floor!

Then I had Xander haul a bunch of the ruined items out to the curb for an eventual dump run.

I put it up on Craigs List for Free and the first thing to go was Carlos’ treadmill.  Which he obviously does not need anymore since he can run around outside all day and night to his heart’s content.

Then I had Mike build a door for the little play house connected to my shed.  This way I can store better things inside or if Houston does move home for year two of Pepperdine Law School, he can have this space for his bikes.  Win Win!

The Boys, Adolio and Paul, showed up to my house on Wednesday morning to do a dump run.  They are so funny!  They crack me up.

When I left my house after seeing the boys, I just didn’t have the heart to shut the shed door as it is Cha Cha’s favorite thing EVER!  Once I have good stuff inside, I will be shutting it.

Maybe, for good behavior, I will open it for her an hour a day.  Hahahaha.  Here she is waiting for the black cat.

Wednesday night, Lori and I did Fit Buddha with Sandy.  Then we headed to The Saloon for dinner.  Fun Fun!

When Lori and I got back to my house, she had a gift basket for me and Cha Cha.  Sorry Carlos!  OMG, what a great friend!  Not only is she here to help me, she brought a gift basket.  Who does that?  Lori Scalise!

Back to the store…..For my consignors, here is more info about the closing.

An update on my nephew, Zach. He is currently in Chilquin, Oregon. Yay! He is going to do the whole thing…I just know it. We are definitely related as we do NOT give up….ever!

Here are a few pictures from Zach’s trek. So proud of this kid! Way to go Zach!

He has hiked over 1,700 miles. For this post on Instagram, he used the song “Ventura Highway”. Sooooo cool! And, he finally got to stay in a hotel. What a treat!

Volume VI  Issue 000053

Today is my little guy’s 29th birthday.  How in the world did that even happen?  Happy Birthday Goosie!

Speaking of my kids, Houston played travel baseball from elementary through high school.  We went on so many fun family trips.  Las Vegas, Colorado, Cooperstown and Ohio to name a few.

We had nice baseball chairs that went everywhere with us.  I needed a chair for the Kane Brown concert so grabbed one of them.  It was trashed after so many years of abuse and I made the decision to just leave it at the concert.

I text this pic to the kids with the explanation.

They both immediately text me back…this RARELY happens!

Time for an eBay score that has something to do with travel baseball.  And a creepy doll…Poor Pitiful Pearl!

My SUV finally died last week.  Both of my mechanics came to the conclusion that there was just too much wrong with it to even attempt to fix it.

I have only ever had 6 cars in my life.  My green 1964 VW bug (License plate ILY338) that I bought for $800 when I turned 16.  My mom had given me $500 towards a car and I earned the rest. My dad taught me how to drive in this car.   It was a stick shift.  That was not pretty.  Lots of yelling.

I passed that car along to my brother and then to my sister.  We all drove it and here we are in it during the heyday!  I want that car back!

Then when I graduated USC I bought my only brand new car, a 1985 VW Jetta GL from Glendale Volkswagen.  That was quite the lemon.  I definitely do NOT want this car back.

Next up, I was working for May Company when my grandma called me to say that she had $10,000 for me and that I should get a new car. Done! I found a used white BMW 325I in that price range. I LOVED that car! It even had a hand held phone in it. I thought I was quite the shit.

When that one got totaled in an accident while living in Bellingham, WA, I found a Cashmere Gold BMW 528i up in Canada for a great price.  Loved that car.

Moved my kids to Palm Desert in that car and when my “eBook of how to sell Dinnerware on eBay” started selling really well, I decided I wanted a Mercedes G Wagon.

They were too expensive, but I found a used Mercedes GL450 in Navy Capri Blue for a great price.  My dad drove out to Thousand Oaks Mercedes to look at it with me and we bought it!  I traded in the Cashmere Gold BMW 528 and they only gave me $2,000.  Then I couldn’t find the title and my friend, Lori, said “why don’t you keep that car for the kids to drive when they turn 16?”.  EXCELLENT advice!

Here is Houston driving the gold Beemer on his first day of sophomore year.

That Navy Blue Capri Mercedes SUV was such a lemon.

Here is that Blue Mercedes in my driveway in Palm Desert….if you look carefully you can see the Gold BMW in front of it.

The screen grab of that photo came from a reality show that we filmed back in 2010.  The Discovery channel almost picked it up.  Soooooo close, and yet so far.  Here is a link to one of the episodes if you care to watch.  It was actually really well done.

Thank you for letting me digress…..Back to my 6th car.

Because that Blue Mercedes SUV was such a lemon, the Thousand Oaks Mercedes dealership stood behind it and they swapped it out for my 6th car, a silver GL450.

Many of you may recognize this car, because that is how you know when I am at the store!

That brings us to current day and an SUV that was not safe to drive.  My mechanic called me to say that nothing was really wrong with it and I said, “Oh no, something is really wrong.  When I drive it on the freeway and turn right, the triangle light flashes and the ESP Light comes on and I can NOT accelerate.”

He took it for a spin on the freeway and called me in hysterics.  “I almost died” he screamed.  I said what would it cost to fix it?  and he said, “It is not worth fixing…everything is bad.”  I said “OK, I will pick it up”.  I am sure he thought I was crazy, but I did ask him if he “enjoyed the adrenaline rush?”  He didn’t think that was funny.

I picked it up and drove it to another mechanic. Same diagnosis. It really was getting scary to drive so now it is parked outside my house waiting to be sold for parts. Price is $1,995 if anyone is interested.
I did not have a car from July 3rd on. It didn’t make for a fun 4th of July. I stayed home and did 12 loads of laundry on that holiday. I was getting a new tenant and I had just had house guests….so tons of linens and towels.

I started shopping for a car on the 3rd. I found a used BMW X5 (that I have always wanted) at a Car Max in Pleasanton, CA. For $199 they would ship it to the local Car Max, so I bit the bullet. I was hoping it would show up before my birthday on the 6th…because what a great birthday gift that would have been!

Unfortunately, it did not. So for my birthday, Val picked me up and we met Sandy down at Harbor Cove cafe for a wonderful lunch! With my two original employees. What a treat!

These girls are just the best.  Sandy got me tickets to see the 3 country artists at the fair this year for my gift and….drum roll please….a new baseball chair.

Well, it probably isn’t a baseball chair per se, but it will always be that to me!  Here it is wrapped up, as I have not opened it yet!  Been a bit busy.  But who wraps a baseball chair?  Great friends…that is who!

Then Val got me another pair of my favorite shoes…I think over the years she has gifted me with about 10 pairs of Fit Flops.  Seriously?  The best gift EVER

And a key ring that made me cry.  She said, “This is a new key ring for your new beginnings…New office, new car, new chapter, new story.  Awwwww!  I am so blessed.

And from this picture, you may have a little hint about what car I did end up with.  LOL!

Back to my actual birthday, because it is all about me.  Just kidding!  After lunch, Sandy drove me to my massage appointment with Illa….she is amazing!   It would have been a perfect day, except I did not hear from one of the most important people in my life…my son.  Goose, did not call me.

The next morning, Indy text and said “Have you heard from him?”….I had not.  She wanted to reach out and I said….whatever you want to do.

Almost immediately, I got a phone call.  He was so sweet and apologetic.  He was like “Mom, you know I love you and I didn’t even realize my birthday was coming up”.

You see Houston’s birthday is 4 days after mine.  Can you imagine my birthday, 29 years ago?….I was soooooo pregnant because he was a big baby!  I basically just laid on the couch.

I  know he must have felt really awful because about 5 minutes after the phone call, I got a notification that he had tagged me in a post…..He NEVER does that.

And, he and Indy are coming up to Ventura on Sunday to take me to dinner.  And to celebrate his birthday.  I can’t wait!

Time for an eBay score…finally!  I found this thermometer set in my grandma’s basement and it sold for a best offer of $80 on eBay.  Score!

Check out the listing here.

I did a Tiktok about that thermometer and a few other things we had sold on eBay, if you want to check it out.  Here is a link.

The day after my birthday was Martini Monday…..LOL!   So after Fit Buddha, Marc took me out to lunch at Lure.  Always a fun time!  We LOVE Bree, our bartender!

Then he thought we should head to the Benchwarmer for one more drink and some pool.  I beat him the first game.  Not so good for games 2 and 3, but I will take a win!

Since we are on the subject of Marc and Fit Buddha….They are having an 11th year anniversary celebration at their Ventura location.  In case you didn’t know, they also have a location in Santa Barbara.  Please join us…I have donated a prize and Sandy and I will be there.  Hope  to see you!

Time for a shout out to one of my favorite consignors and customers….Marisela.  She and her husband just rescued the most darling puppy.

He is actually 3 years old and his name is “Salty”…perfect because she and her husband are sailors.  I am going to miss all of you people!  That is about the only thing I am sad about with closing the store.  My employees, my customers and my consignors.  You are all so AMAZING and will be missed!

I will continue writing my ezines, so hopefully we can all stay in touch.

Time for an eBay score until we get to my Tuesday!  Check out this piece of Trench Art that I picked up at a garage sale for $4.  It sold for asking price of $145.19.

Check out the listing here.  And you must follow me on TikTok because my post for today will be the reason why it sold for so much and I need more than 1,505 followers….LOL…Help a girl out.  Here is a link to my TikTok.

Let’s share something about Indy before I get to my Tuesday…which was…by the way, a very good day!

I am very excited to see Indy & Houston on Sunday for a birthday dinner, but in the meanwhile, this popped up on my iphone.

On the left is one of my favorite pictures of her and on the right is an iphone generated photo of her in classical dress.  LOL.  She has always had a European look to her and this just cracked me up.

She is cute either way.  Am I right or am I right?

So, Tuesday rolls around and my shipped BMW X5 is available to be seen at Car Max.  So excited!  But I had no car to drive and had to be in Camarillo at 3:30 to get my hair done.

I rented a car from Enterprise and made a 2:30 appointment at Car Max.  I have (obviously) not bought a car in about 15 years so had NO clue what it entailed.

I arrived and they could not find the car.  I was sent out to the lot to find it by the freeway fence and as I was walking there, I swear it drove right past me and it was SWEET!

I went back inside to tell the manager and he said “Probably not your car” and I was like, “How many blue BMW X5’s do you have on the lot?” and he checked and informed me that they did, in fact, have 3.  Whatever!  I just knew that was MY car.

And it was.  I was able to test drive it alone…how weird is that?  Back in the day, that was not even an option.  It drove like a dream and was super fast…Oh, how I have missed having a Beemer!

I couldn’t fill out all the paperwork before my hair appointment so headed to Camarillo for that and came back at 6:30 to express pick up my NEW used car.

I didn’t have time to have dinner, so got top ramen out of their vending machine.  I LOVE top ramen…what is wrong with me?

Before I had left Car Max, I was considering the extended warranty, but it was an extra $7k with a $500 deductible.  Didn’t make much sense and I have always had great luck with BMW’s.  So when I got back, I told Cole to take it off of my paperwork.  That took about 30 minutes extra.  Ughhh.

So, Daniel who was doing my paperwork gave me a coupon for a $100 reimbursement for the delay.  All I have to do is get a meal, gasoline or any other item and bring in the receipt for $100 cash.  He did specify…no alcohol. Whatever!  I thought it was awesome and I think I am now a Car Max fan.

And here I am with my beautiful new/used Navy Blue BMW X5.  It is a 2015, so was not very expensive and super clean.  Only 50k miles and two owners.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!  Stop by and say hi.  LOL.

Wednesday, in the store, I had a very special surprise.  How many of you remember Adolio and Sunny?  It is now Adolio and Paul who deliver, but back in the day it was Adolio and Sunny.

He stopped in today to say “Hi”…Love that so much!  I have met so many good people in Ventura.  This is a very special town!

OK, thanks for following along with my crazy life.  Again, I am in desperate need of storage space for my eBay business.  I need another new key for my new key ring!  Ideally, I need about a 20′ by 20′ space.

Does anyone have a barn, empty garage (I have had my entire eBay stock in a residential garage before), warehouse or other empty space for me to lease at a reasonable price?

I have been calling storage units, but they are like the worst salesmen in the entire world and try and keep you on the phone for hours.  I do NOT have that time.  Anyone out there have a great storage unit business that they would recommend?

Please spread the word.  Thanks!

2.) If it doesn’t sell during the next 90 days, we will donate it to one of the following local charities: Habitat for Humanity or The Boys and Girls Club.

3.) We will still be taking in new consignments during this process.

4.) For those of you with items that sold over a year ago, your consignor credit has been converted to store credit as per the contract.

5.) I will be writing the next consignor checks on Monday, June 30th. Until then, please feel free to use your consignor credit to shop in the store.

After, June 30th, we will go back to the traditional Wednesday check writing day. BUT, remember you can only get a check every 30 days.
An update on my nephew, Zach. He is currently in Seiad, CA. Where in the world is that Zach? He is only 15 miles from Oregon. Yay! He is going to do the whole thing…I just know it. We are definitely related as we do NOT give up….ever!

Here are a few pictures from Zach’s trek. So proud of this kid! Way to go Zach! The snake freaks me out a bit.

Things we need for the store…..

AND PLEASE NO CONSIGNMENTS ON WEDNESDAYS….this is our big furniture take in and catch up day.  THANK YOU!
