Indiana plays Touchstone in Pepperdine’s production of Shakespeare’s “As You Like It”! So excited for opening night tonight as Pepperdine has put such a fun spin on this. They are doing it 80’s style! And who doesn’t LOVE the 1980’s? If you answered Me, please stop in and see me in the store this week….we need to talk…..
Back to the play, Indy’s character is modeled after Duckie in “Pretty in Pink”…so fun! Here she is in costume. Which one is Indy and which one is Jon Cryer? Hahaha!
Another really fun thing about the performance tonight, is that it is live with 13 different actors all connecting on Zoom. Show times are:
Friday, April 9th at 7 pm
Saturday, April 10th at 7 pm
Sunday, April 11th at 2 pm
I will be watching all of them. Why? Well, because I am her mother and I NEVER missed one of Houston’s baseball or football games….How could I ever miss one of her performances? Not gonna happen!
Here is a little bit more about the performance from the official Pepperdine Theatre Instagram account.
Another really fun fact is that Indiana was put in charge of filming fun video advertisements as breaks in the production. Indy is uber talented and they are really clever. One that I love is the 1980’s workout video….HAHAHA!
OK, yes that chocolate set that I listed on eBay (in 5 separate auctions) sold for close to $900. OMG! If you missed the last ezine where I talk about this set, you can read it here.
Yep, that is a tiny (about 3 1/2″ tall) creamer from a LuRay Pastel Chocolate set that sold for over $500. Here is a link if you don’t believe me. Hahahaha! There are still scores to be had on eBay and this one was SUPER fun!
I bought a small set of these random pieces (all shrunk wrapped together) out in Palm Desert for about $12.00. In addition to the creamer, there were also 7 chocolate cups and saucers. Four of them sold at auction last week for close to $400 and I have the remaining 3 listed this week. Wooo Hooo!
Here is what the entire set would look like.
Here is one of the chocolate cup and saucer sets that I have up for auction this week. It already has a bid of $49.99. Here is a link to the listing.
We have a whole new front window and it is stunning! Val even told me that it just may be her favorite EVER! Thanks to our consignors (Dean & Brad) for bringing us the amazing Tiffany Style Stained Glass Lamps that it is styled around. These are truly works of art and will not last long.
Here is another new cute little new vignette by the back roll up door featuring Navy Blue and White. Stop in and see us soon! We miss y’all!
Take care and we hope to see you soon!
Lynn and everyone!
