Do you love this customer testing out our awesome rocker in the front window?  LOL!  Can you find him?  Where is Waldo?

We had our company Christmas party (very low key this year) and hosted by Sendia at her home this past Monday…It was so fun!  We talked about death, animals and played Left Right Center….Know it sounds crazy, but it was bonding and a great break for all of us.  A car alarm went off the entire time.  LOL.

Although, we sure missed Val, Peggy, Candy, Martha, Emily & Whale.

Then, my friend Chris Wade showed up at the store on Tuesday, to take me to lunch.  It was a nice distraction.

Now for some new arrivals…sorry not too many.  It was busy in the store with the sale!

Check out this darling table that Sandy and my mom painted with pure white and capability green. It’s priced at only $69.50   So cute!

This awesome bar top and 2 stool set just came in and is priced at $195.00!

And finally, one last cute little side table priced at $75.  Don’t forget about our 20% off sale!

And then, before I forget, it was Carlos’ Gotcha day a few days ago.  We adopted (not shopped) for him 4 years ago.  I love this little scrappy kitty so much.  But, I must tell you that ever since October when I have had so many random dogs staying in my house….he has been living outside.  It breaks my heart.

I try and bring him in every day and only feed him inside, but at this point he is even scared of Cha Cha.  I feel like I have a rescue kitty and am totally blaming myself.  If any of you have been through this and have some advice…I would love to hear it.  I want my kitty back who isn’t afraid of the Cha.  Ughh.

And then here is the “evil” Cha Cha….who really isn’t that evil, but is acting like a typical dog.  I just want everything back to normal.  In more ways than one!

Thanks for shopping LOCAL!  Cha Cha, Indy, Carlos & Houston……

121423 1st Ventura eBay Course & New Arrivals!

Happy Thursday!

Not much to report from my recent sourcing trip to Palm Desert.  I bought a few great sets of flatware and got to see my friends….so that was fun.  It was still a work trip and I probably won’t go back for a while.  Too much to do here  as we gear up for the end of the holiday season.  Such a fun time of year in the store!

Here is one of the listings for this flatware set that I bought for $50.  The dinner forks are worth $35.99 at retail so I start them at auction at 1/2 price.  Yikes!  And it was a 55 piece set.  Pretty awesome at $1 a piece.  Check out the listing here.

Many of you have asked for a hands on “How to Sell on eBay” course and I am excited to announce our first one on Tuesday, December 19th in the store from 12 to 4 pm.  I will take you through your first listing and teach you the most important things to know when selling on eBay.   The best part is that my mom will be in town to help facilitate the course!   Mor Mor arrives today from Bellingham for the Christmas season.

You will bring a laptop computer and several items to actually list.  It will be a blast and I am so excited to get back into teaching others how to make extra money from home.  Please email me with any questions.  Space is limited so here is a link to sign up.

It will be modeled after my 6 week on-line Six Step Course, but since it is in person you will still get the same benefits.  And yes, that is a really OLD photo of me!

Here is more info about the course……

Maybe you need to earn some extra cash; maybe you just want to clean out your garage but don’t want the hassle of a garage sale. Maybe you inherited some antiques and don’t know how to turn them into money, or you need to supplement a fixed income. Whatever the reason for needing some extra CASH, Lynn Dralle has the solution! AND she is going to share her tips and tricks so you can make that solution work for you!

Lynn is offering her first ever live in Ventura course to teach you the basics of selling on eBay. Even if you have been selling on eBay for a while, this course will still teach you more than enough to make it worth your while.

In most classes, the teacher lectures while the students listen. Not in Lynn’s course!   Lynn actually expects you to list something in front of her :).

What has been keeping you from making a go of selling on eBay? Maybe you found the listing process overwhelming. Maybe you couldn’t find the time to acquire all the technical knowledge eBay seems to require. Maybe you just found the whole prospect intimidating. Maybe you have sold things on eBay, but didn’t have much success getting the prices you hoped for. If so, then this is just the course for you. Lynn Dralle will show you just how easy and profitable selling on eBay can be.

Here is what some of Lynn’s recent graduates have to say about her course:  Keep in mind that these testimonials are about my ecourse….but you will be getting this knowledge in PERSON.  Even better!

“I enrolled in Lynn’s eCourse and turned my business around completely. By following Lynn’s carefully written instructions and applying them to my eBay site I now have over 1100 listings and continue to grow both in sales and knowledge.

Let me share with you one of my sales – I found a dinnerware set – Villeroy and Boch, Riviera pattern at a local resale shop. I paid $12.00 for the entire set, including lots of serving pieces. To date I have sold over $700.00 of this pattern and still have some pieces available. This was truly a remarkable experience.

Lynn’s eCourse showed me how to enhance my listings, how to take better pictures, where to look for merchandise, how to pack and ship to prevent breakages and much, much more. And now, the Queen of Auctions has her own binder on my bookshelf. I constantly refer back to the materials that I printed and I count her as one of my friends. She is always there to help.

Without this course it would have taken me years to learn what I now know. I am so very grateful. Time = Money and that’s what I got from this course – more sales, sales, sales!!!

– Auntie Suzi”

“I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the work you have put into this course. I taught at the College Level and you are one of a very few who knows how to transfer knowledge into learning -hallelujah!!!

– Cauleen Viscoff, Canada”

“My goodness, what a home run you hit with this lesson! It is so full of great information that I had to go over it several times. You are an outstanding teacher; I have put some of your lessons to use this week and that saved me a few costly mistakes. Thanks again for giving us such valuable information.

– Margaret (Peggy) McIlvain Texas”

“Just wanted to let you know I am really enjoying the lessons. As the Young people would say, you have really ‘turned me on’ to this eBay thing.

-Shirley Jones, Texas”

And just for fun, here is another one of my recent eBay scores.  Paid $10 for it and sold it for full asking price.  Check out the listing here.

Before I forget, both stores are sooooo full…we will not be taking any new consignments until after the first of the year.  Sorry, but thanks for understanding!

OMG, I forgot to share a photo from the time with my besties in the desert.  Here I am with Candy, her son Austin, his buddy Adrian and Kel.  Austin and Houston (my son) played baseball together back in the day in Palm Dessert and that is how I met all of my best friends out there.  Our boys played sports together!

Austin  and Adrian recently finished their Marine basic training and are now both stationed at 29 Palms.  So great to see them and congratulate them on their success!  So proud of these boys and very grateful that they choose to serve our country!

We are having a Holiday Sale!  10% off both stores…furniture and clothing.  Come in and get your Lynn’s Fix this week.  Sale goes through Sunday 12/17.  See you soon!
