010924 The 20% Off Sale Continues…& A New Ezine Next Week!

Thank you Ventura!  For what could have been a hard time for me and my amazing staff…y’all have been so wonderful…kind, supportive and caring!  And thank you for your patience as we navigate through this.

I knew that this little town was special…so a HUGE thank you to all of our customers and consignors.

I am still looking for warehouse/storage space for my eBay inventory.  At this point I would even consider a warehouse, pole building or garage.  If you can believe it, I can get all of my eBay inventory into a 15′ by 20′ space.  Shout out if you have something that may work.

I will be writing a full length ezine next week to let you know what else is going on in my crazy, but fun life.  I have to tell you that one of my customers, Liz, who also works out at Fit Buddha gave me the greatest gift this past week.  I don’t know her that well so it really hit home.

I walked into Fit Buddha on Sunday morning and she said “Congratulations” and I said “why?”  As y’all know I am sad to be closing the store and she said, “This is a new beginning for you and such a relief to have made such a big decision…onward and upwards”….or something to that affect and it made me smile.  She also shared that last year she closed her business and it was the most amazing and freeing decision she had ever made.

And so many more of you have also been saying “one door closes and another opens”…so thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support and optimism.

Just so you know, we plan to be open until the end of January.  Tentative last day will be January 31st.  However, we may stretch it out until February 11th.  I will keep you posted.

The Promen Wooden Hangers in the Clothing Store are all for sale at $2 each or you can get 10 for $15.

7′ Christmas Trees are $195 each

I will be pricing more fixtures as we go.

Don’t miss out!  You don’t want what happened to Corner Cabinet Karen to happen to you…….

For those of you who don’t know the Corner Cabinet Karen saga, one of our good customers came back to buy a corner cabinet on the day of it’s markdown and someone else had just bought it!

In super happy news, Val showed up on Saturday to surprise Sandy and me.  What a great gift!  Her husband Ron has been sick, so please pray for both of them.  We have missed her soooooo much!

When I posted about the store closing, I loved this repost from Midtown Ventura….applauding us for still smiling…we will go out with a Bang (just like we came in) and lots of smiles!  Planning a going away potluck…bring your own booze…party!  Stay tuned!

Once again, here are the details of the closing process for my consignors.

122823 Thank You For The LOVE Ventura!

Thank you to all of you who have emailed, texted, called and come in to show your support.  It means the world to me and my amazing staff!  Ventura is the most special little city in the World!

It seems like the store will be missed and I am just wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in taking over my lease (a great rate has been negotiated) and buy out my fixtures.  I am hoping for a Miracle on Main Street. You just never know.

Also, I will need warehouse/storage space for my eBay inventory.  I am looking for about 600 square feet.  Thanks for any help!

There are not any new arrivals this week, but I will share a fun photo that Susan took of us yesterday.  My son’s girlfriend, Emma, and her mom Adrianne came to visit the store.  It is still a super fun environment and we are smiling through this process.  Please come in and see us!
