OK, I have had so much fun these past 2 weeks with my friends in town visiting, but I am ready for a break.

Jo Dallas showed up on September 4th, to help out at the store while Cindy and Sandy were on vacation.  What a great friend and we had a blast!

Then Indiana and her friend Larissa joined us for two nights over the weekend.  Another fun time!

Luckily, my house is really set up well for guests.  We have my bedroom and Indy’s bedroom in the main house and then two additional suites with their own bathrooms, my office and the casita.  It is an awesome house!  To host awesome guests!

On Wednesday, September 13th, Mo drove out from Palm Desert to work on my eBay business.

Then the rest of the Palm Desert best friends showed up on Friday. It was a whirlwind weekend and so much fun! The girls took me out for my big birthday at Prime. Such a great dinner! Love Prime’s new patio.

Mo left this morning and I am back to my life as I know it.  Fit Buddha later today!  Wish me luck :).

Just to give you an idea of how exhausted I am, here I am taking a bit of a nap at the Saloon this past Saturday night around midnight.  LOL!

Happy Thursday!  Oh what a week!  I have had wall-to-wall company as my grandmother would have said…..

Jo Dallas arrived last Wednesday and helped me sooooo much.  She helped man the store, filed for me both at home & at the office, helped clean up my outdoor deck and was all around good company.  Just dropped her off at Santa Barbara Airport and I will miss her!

I am sure she is ready for a vacation after this one!  LOL!

Here we are on Thursday morning (the day after she arrived) when my friend Chris Wade and his son (Hunter) came up to Ventura from San Clemente to pick up the AWESOME furniture that he bought from me last week.

Seriously, he bought this Restoration Hardware Leather Chair that I may have to fight him for.  It is/was soooo amazing.  Damn you Chris!

Then on Friday night, Val, Jo Dallas and I went to Prime for happy hour.  So much fun!

Jo Dallas went to some fun garage sales with me on Saturday and we worked most of the weekend….but then on Tuesday, Indiana and her friend Larissa (aka Loretta aka Alyssa) arrived along with Mo from the desert.

So much fun!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE having a gaggle of friends and family at my home complex.

While all of this was going on, I had ordered a new duvet set for my room.  Do y’all like it?  Or should I return it?  I LOVE how cute Cha Cha & Carlos look on it….LOL!

Oh, I wanted to share this photo from 8 years ago that popped up in my timehop this morning.  It is my dad with Houston & Indiana on the Pepperdine Campus after they made coke cans with their names on them.  I do miss my dad ever so much.

I guess this week is payback for me being gone for 2 weeks!  LOL.  Both Cindy and Sandy are on vacation.  Cindy is up north and Sandy is in Idaho visiting her son.  I will be working more hours in the front store and also doing all the eBay shipping.  Not my favorite thing to do!  But look how cute the Cha was when she was a puppy!

Thank God Jo Dallas arrived yesterday to help me out!  She is a lifesaver. Stop in the store to say hi to Jo as she will be there for the next week.  What a great friend!

This was all of us last night at The Saloon before Sandy left town.  You gotta love Sam (Sandy’s Chocolate Lab) and Cha Cha.  Sam loves me by the way!

When I was up in Washington last month, I did my Global Entry Interview at the Blaine location.  So much easier than driving into Los Angeles and doing it at LAX.  So excited to get my new card in the mail this week.  Let’s go……

Yesterday at the store, this lady came in and said “Are you Lynn?”

“Well, yes I am”.  Her name was Gail and she was visiting from Chicago.

She has been reading my ezines since 2008 when she saw me speak at eBay Live in Chicago.  Crazy!  That was 15 years ago.  Gail knew all about my kids, the store and my shenanigans and she said that my ezines always make her feel happy.  Aaaawwww.  My ezine used to go out to 20,000 people.  These days it just goes out to 2,000 of you, but we are building it back up.

She is what Sandy calls a “super fan”.  I think it was adorable!  Thanks for stopping in Gail!
