Happy Thursday!  OMG!  So excited to welcome an Academy Award winning Documentary Film Crew to the store this Saturday.  I can share more details later, but for now just know that we are completely gutting the store and redoing EVERYTHING!  It looks sooooooo fabulous, you must stop in soon!

Now for some sneak peaks with before and afters!  Here is the red room….

As many of you know, we didn’t have enough room in the store for yellow and orange to have their own vignettes, so here is the combined orange/yellow room.  Before and After!

And here is the green vignette before and after!  Do you spot any art that looks interesting?

And here is the Turquoise Blue vignette before and the girls worked their magic and then the completed room. This one might be my favorite!

Here is the Navy Blue vignette before and after! Hard to do this one with the window in the center.

And here is the pink vignette that Sandy did, sorry no before photo!  this one is also really hard as we don’t have pegboard on this wall.  Sandy had to drill holes for the cement nails.  Ughhhh!

And by the way, Val cleaned up the office! She is the best!  We just realized that five years ago yesterday, we met for the first time.  She has been with me at the store since the very beginning.

I haven’t shared an update about Carlos in some time, so here he is.  He is obsessed with my hair.  Not sure why….but he loves his new life in our new home because it has a “doggy/kitty” door and he can come and go as he pleases.

He even figured out how to use the actual tiny “kitty” door to get into the Casita, so Cha Cha can’t bug him.  Just so you know, I had no choice but to let him be an outside cat.  He was relentless.  And if it eases your mind, he does not leave our property.

Happy New Year and Happy Thursday!  Here are a few of this week’s new arrivals and in other news, we are going to be redoing the two front window displays.  Remember back post covid, when we did a neutral background palette and then rotated the colors of the rainbow?  It was a super fun experiment and it brought in a lot of fun colorful items.  This time we will be doing two windows at once!

So, we need your red and orange accessories…pillows, mirrors, figurines, vases, decor, artwork, throws, rugs, lamps etc.  Can’t wait to see what you bring us!

The red window was July 2020 and the orange window was August 2020.  Target date for the new red & orange windows is January 11th so bring us your stuff!

Many of you have expressed concern regarding my mom (Mor Mor) so thank you for that!  She is home now safe and sound in Bellingham, but she left us with the rain.  Ughhhh….I know we need it, but I am over it!  So are Cha Cha & Carlos…they just want to play outside.

As I finish writing this, I realize that the 4th is my brother Lee’s birthday, so a Happy Birthday shout out to him and a fun throwback picture of the three of us in my Grandmother’s living room.  We are standing in front of the fireplace she imported from Europe back in the 1960’s and some of her many Cloisonne Chargers on the wall.

During the holidays, I sure miss my sister, my dad and my grandma.  I met with a Medium over the holidays and I will share more about that in my next ezine.  It was kinda crazy which spirits came through and what I learned!

OK, back to the pic in my grandma’s living room and a fun Insta story that my brother posted about a birthday 7 years ago when we brought Disneyland to the desert for him.  LOL!
